The French Government Surrenders To Islamists

French courts convicted Brigette Bardot of inciting discrimination and racial hatred for saying that Muslims were destroying France. They fined her $23,325 and order her to pay over $1000 in damages to the organization that filed the suit.

Since when are Muslims a race?

Muslims are not a race. Sorry, France—you have shown the world once again how cowardly you are by giving in to your fears, uhm, once again. France is now a de facto hostage of Islamists. The Muslim tide has secured a foothold in the heart of Europe, and now we can look forward to more of those glorious and fun riots, mob burnings, looting and more Sharia court inspired murders. Whippee!!!

Won’t be long at all until Paris is filled with AK47’s firing at wedding celebrations!

It’s no wonder the only brave French aside from Bardot are those in the Legion…which are, uhm, mainly foreigners.

Worse, French stupidity is giving others ideas, even right here in America. Come on, you didn’t think it would talk all that long, did you?

If some idiot wants to call me racist because I think Islam is the scourge of modern civilization, let them. I’ll laugh long into my twilight years at the thought that exactly the kind of uneducated buffoonery that Islam propagates is behind the erroneous accusations by those who can’t read a simple dictionary entry.

Wouldn’t it be cool if a bunch of pro-Western mercenaries carved out a country somewhere where Islam wasn’t welcome and made Brigette Bardot their Queen? The idea isn’t anywhere near as silly as the actions of the French government.

Hey, Brigette, send me an email. Most of my friends are soldiers and former soldiers…

Oh, and lets not forget how the religion of peace blew up the Danish embassy while we’re at it. I need to start drawing some Muhammed cartoons.

Bush Administration Fails Again, This Time With Lebanon

Once again a Bush administration has dropped the ball on a critical issue in the Middle East despite its claims that the War on Terror is sooooooooo ever-loving important. We have a US backed government in Lebanon that found itself being overrun by Hezbollah—a terrorist organization—and we sat by doing absolutely nothing worthwhile. Why?

Here was a perfect opportunity to build support and target Hezbollah and their allies, a perfect opportunity to confront terrorism…and we do nothing aside from some feeble diplomatic whining? I can think of any number of strategies that would be better than the do nothing approach of the Bush administration.

I’m sure the administration is just waiting on some buzzword-filled strategy dreamed up by some think-tank employee taking a crap (which, ironically, is what any such strategy usually ends up being) or another moron Secretary of Defense.

Starving Our Soldiers In Iraq While Getting Rich

Oklahoma National Guardsmen are having to work 10 hour shifts without food in Iraq according to allegations being made by some of those serving in Oklahoma’s 45th Infantry Division. They are being forced to skip meals and being starved it seems.

U.S. Rep. Mary Fallin and U.S. Rep. Tom Cole have asked the National Guard and the Army to investigate the matter. If this turns out to be true, this will be one of the most disturbing and disgusting issues to come out of this war.

Here we have defense contractors getting rich, oil companies getting rich, PMC’s getting rich…and yet they are withholding meals from American soldiers? I urge everyone to urge your elected representatives to look into this matter and call for an investigation. Make this an issue that the mainstream media must pay attention to!

Here our President is talking about the SPP in New Orleans and all the benefits we’ll get from partnering with Mexico and yet we’re starving our soldiers fighting our wars? What the hell is wrong with this picture? Some of my great uncles served with the Thunderbird Division in WWII, and as these are fellow Oklahomans suffering this stupidity, I take this personally.

Carter Talks With Terrorists Of Hamas While They Plan Attacks

So the incredibly incompetent former President, Jimmy Carter, has once again stuck his nose into foreign affairs when he ought to stick with writing books no one wants to read (except maybe Nancy Pelosi). This time, he went to the Middle East to have talks with Hamas representatives.

You had a nice chat, didn’t you, Mr. Carter?

While you were doing so, Hamas was planning a terrorist attack which they carried out on Saturday, the same day you were meeting with their representatives in Damascus.

Hamas made you look like a complete fool (not that you needed any help), and you have shown yourself to be a disgrace by supporting terrorism and terrorists. Why don’t you do all of us a favor and stay in the Middle East from now on and not bother coming back to America?

I would be laughing if the loss of lives weren’t saddening. Democrats, you are showing Americans that you support terrorists with your continued support of foolish people like Carter and Pelosi. Peace talks…what a cover for planning terrorist attacks, eh Mr. Carter?

If Carter goes to Russia to talk about missile shields, you better find a nuclear blast shelter quick…

OK, whatever your politics…this ought to get a laugh. Might as well post something while mulling over the state of the blog.

NATO Fears Over Dutch Film About Islam?

Dutch MP Geert Wilders will soon be releasing a film about Islam that has NATO worrying about repercussions. You may recall that Net access was blocked in Pakistan recently because of a video with Mr. Wilders appearing on YouTube talking about the film?

Currently, NATO is concerned about how the upcoming release of the film will impact relations with Islamic nations. The Dutch government has also issued a heightened terrorism alert in anticipation of peaceful Islamic reaction. In Afghanistan, protesters are already calling for the government to expel Dutch and Danish troops and cut ties with those countries.

I for one am glad to see Mr. Wilders going forward with his plans. These days, Islamists use terror and intimidation of all sorts to silence any criticism of Islam or Islamic nations or anything related to their culture. It’s nice to see that Western democracies haven’t lost their spine altogether and that freedom of speech is still possible in places. Who would have thought you needed to be brave to be a cartoonist, after all?

Sadly, here in America, it is getting more difficult to criticize our own government or Islam. Laws passed under the guise of ‘hate crime’ and ‘domestic terror’ legislation are making it increasingly likely that being critical of the establishment in general and of those nations which our government considers allies—or critical to some political goal.

Really, all those anti-war protesters who want US troops to come home have to do is start posting cartoons of Muhammad daily. Soon, the furor will be such that all foreign troops will leave the Middle East. What a tragic pity that the solution is so easy and simple, yet the anti-war protesters would hypocritically rather let wars continue to be fought than offend the Islamic masses.

War is bad, terrible and killing should stop, the anti-war protesters cry! Unless, of course it would offend someone and upset them because it offended their peaceful belief in stoning and beheading. For the anti-war establishment, it’s much more acceptable to let a war continue and not offend people than it is to hurt someone’s feelings and save lives. As I’ve mentioned before, you never see anti-war protesters doing anything proactive between wars. These creatures only come out when it is convenient and they need to feel good about themselves.

Real peace activists don’t wait for the wars to begin to take action.

Sorry for the side trip, but back to the upcoming film release by Mr. Wilders. I wish him a safe life. The world needs more people willing to stand up to bullies—no matter what ideology they hide behind, and no matter what spineless governments are in bed with them.

The world is well aware of the brutality perpetrated by virtually every religion out there, and yet it is somehow a bad thing to point it out about Islam. Why is this? As the modern world well knows, you don’t want to upset those selling you the oil you need to grease the wheels of civilization.

But really, what’s the point of being civilized and having a government if you’re going to allow barbarians from far away lands to dictate what you can and can’t do in your own country?

I receive a lot of spam, both in WordPress comments and in email (though Akismet is improving and catching more of it). Just today, someone proudly proclaiming his Middle Eastern name tried filling my email with spam. It of course all just went to the junk folder and I had a good laugh at it. Most of the spam I get these days originates from IP addresses in the Middle East…more gifts from those peace-loving sorts I suppose. It’s hilarious how most of it is porn related spam. I guess there are a lot of Muslim men out there that really regret making their women cover up or something.

For those who think I only pick on Islam, you’re wrong.

As soon as I hear of Christians or Buddhists walking into Muslim communities and blowing themselves up I’ll take them to task just the same. As soon as I see or hear priests in the Vatican or the Native American Church calling for the extermination of a nation and its people, I’ll take them to task. As soon as native people living in the jungle along the Amazon start roadside bombings I will take them to task as well. As soon as I hear Taoists, Wiccans and members of The Hip Hop Church are stoning and beheading people, I’ll take them to task. As soon as I hear Jews and Atheists refusing to allow women to attend school, I’ll take them to task. As soon as Scientologists…wait…everyone already knows they’re creepy and strange, right?

In the mean time, since Hamas is still praising things like gunmen walking into schools and shooting civilians, it is no wonder that humanitarian conditions in Gaza are at a 40 year low.

Maybe if they had spent more time building a society than they spent building bombs and tunnels over the past 40 years, the Palestinians would have had a thriving nation by now? But why do all that hard work when you can riot, burn flags and cars, get angry at everyone in the world except your countrymen and your own leaders, and scream for heads over a cartoon, right?

Or, optionally, you can spend your time withdrawing from book fairs, accusing Israel of crimes against humanity…all the while hypocritically ignoring genocide in Darfur by Sudan’s peaceful Islamic government, right?

Syrian Man Beheads 15 Month Old Nephew In Saudi Arabia

Does it get any more insane than a man beheading his 15 month old nephew in a public market? There are no words suitable to react to this sort of thing really. It just gives civilized people one more reason to dislike the Middle East, everything in it and about it.

Barack Hussein Obama Making Grave Foreign Policy Mistake

Portraying himself as a candidate for change, Obama needs to toss former national security adviser Tony Lake aside like a hot potato in the post- 9/11 world. There isn’t any rational American who will feel the least bit safe with a former Bill Clinton adviser hanging about the Obama camp—especially when it was one that was around during Clinton’s failure to act decisively and prudently as President, which brought us 9/11.

Obama has much bigger concerns than Oprah…

Prince Andrew Offers Criticism Of US On Iraq

Prince Andrew—fourth in line to the British throne and a former naval aviator—chose to be critical of the USA ahead of a planned visit. That makes about as much sense as what he had to say.

He thinks American and British relations are in a “trough” and suggested that the US government should have listened to the British more on issues regarding Iraq. They have a wealth of experience in counterinsurgency, colonialism and so forth, after all.

Is the Prince is being facetious, or did he wake up forgetful?

Maybe if the British had not subjugated so many nations (thus racking up said experience in colonial rule and counterinsurgency) and drawn the idiotic lines that mapped out the modern Middle East with a total disregard for the history of various peoples and common sense, we wouldn’t have to be there now. Certainly, we would be having an easier time of it.

Perhaps if the British had more than a paltry handful of troops in Iraq, things would be going smoother as well?

Maybe what we Americans need is a British Royal in Iraq to tell us how to win the war?

I suppose we’ll just have to do our best without, since the British are afraid to send any…

Why The Benazir Bhutto Assassination?

Just when things had looked to be taking a turn for the better throughout the entire Middle East and region of the Indian sub-continent, something had to happen to ruin it all. That is, of course, precisely why it happened.

It was sad news this morning to hear of the assassination of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister. She stood a good chance of taking Musharraf’s place. At the absolute worst, some sort of power-sharing co-governance between the two as Prime Minister and President seemed likely. This changes everything—which it was meant to do.

She knew of the risks, and bravely did what she felt was her duty. The big question is out there, hanging…waiting for an answer: to whom do we credit this assassination?

No Need For New Surveillance Laws

Just when I said I should stop blogging about political things, I read yet another political development that upset me enough to want to blog about it.

President Bush is holding the possibility of recalling Congress in the event they don’t pass new legislation that his administration feels is necessary to close gaps in intelligence. The legislation he wants has to do with eavesdropping on foreigners.

We don’t need this proposed legislation, simply put. Even though the administration says it ideally should be designed so that it doesn’t allow a focus on communications to and from Americans, it does not want a review of any envisioned law before hand. Bush and his cronies simply want to pass it and then allow limited review of the process rather than on a case by case basis, which is really unacceptable.

Part of our problem in America is that we keep passing laws that give too sweeping and broad powers to a government that is not really accountable to ‘We the People’ anymore. This legislation that Bush wants will go hand in hand with his recent destruction of the 5th Amendment to destroy more personal freedoms for Americans, seize their property, and to subvert the judicial system (pathetic as it is already) further…

Chinese-Swiss Army Knives And Turning Holy Cities Into Glass

Just to show how the World Trade Organization is so ridiculously a mistake, I give you the most perfect example. The world famous Swiss Army knife’s new production must be tendered to the all members of the WTO for bidding, according to the Swiss Army.

A lot of people think China may end up winning the bid. China already counterfeits the knives as it is, but the prospect of official Swiss Army knives being made in China has stirred the passions of many around the world, who want to see the Swiss making Swiss Army knives.

Some changes are so plainly pathetic as to discredit the very impetus behind the change.

Take Senator John McCain, for example…
