Another Reason To Loathe Pakistan: Bear Baiting
Bear baiting in Pakistan is just one more reason to loathe the barbaric tribes living there. Not that the terrorist and Taliban breeding ground really needs another reason to be looked upon with contempt, but why not get it all out there, you know? Muslims love to point out the evils of Western civilization, so I thought it would be nice to point out another of theirs (as if honor killings and stonings and beheadings and oppression weren’t enough to warrant a little loathing, right?).
To help put an end to this practice, learn more on the World Society for the Protection of Animals site: https://www.worldsocietyprotectionofanimals.org/bear/
And yes, there are still idiots who contribute to dog fighting and like to fight chickens (how pathetic is that?) all around the world. And there’s bull-fighting in Spain and Mexico and a few other places—which is equally pathetic.
There’s something beyond barbarous and cruel (almost inhuman, really) in wanting to see dogs maul a bear that has had its teeth removed, that is mistreated and in poor health. Leave it to the Islamic world to enjoy that particular brand of bloodthirsty and disgusting cruelty. At least in medieval Europe, such fights involved captured wild animals with all their teeth and claws intact. Not that that justifies it or is any better—it’s not. It does go to show that even when it comes to barbarity and depravity, there are many levels, and the Islamic world has always sat at the lowest level in both areas.
It is too bad those tribesmen don’t have the courage to get in a gladiatorial arena to fight and kill each other like Western civilization has enjoyed doing through the course of history. The world would be better off for it just now.
Cowardice, simple-minded barbaric cruelty and violence is what Pakistan’s tribal regions are all about, however. I hope some day to see on YouTube video footage of a bear slipping his bonds and mauling one of his captors in Pakistan to death. I’ll raise a toast to the poor beastie for a job well done.
On Earth, there are two worlds. One moves forward through history, advancing humanity with time, discoveries, and gained enlightenment. The Muslim world, however, just continues trying to destroy everything in hopes of keeping humanity trapped in the barbarous cruelty and primitive ignorance of ages past…

Knut’s Zookeeper Surrogate Dad Found Dead
Tragically, the zookeeper who raised Knut—the world famous polar bear cub at the Berlin zoo—was found dead in his apartment. Thomas Doerflein became famous along with Knut as he spent 150 days straight with the first polar bear cub born to the zoo in over 30 years and raised him after its mother had rejected it.
As the article on Yahoo where I discovered the news reveals, he will be greatly missed by many who came to view him not just as a celebrity, but as a friend.

Sabotage Of Presidential Hopefuls And Horse Racing
Does anyone else think that Obama and Clinton have been sabotaged by people close to them since their campaigns started? I honestly have to say I have never seen two more ineptly run campaigns in my 38 years.
With Friends Like That, Who Needs Enemies?
On Hillary’s side, you have Bill Clinton running off at the mouth, making chauvinistic comments, contradicting comments, disagreeing on policy issues, and in general not keeping his mouth shut when he should. Then there are her staffers and campaign workers who have engaged in they usual muck-raking and dirty politics, and her own trips to Fantasy Island…like the one where she dodged sniper fire on a visit to the Balkans.
On Barack’s side, you have the Reverend Wright with his racist statements. He just won’t go away and keep his mouth shut. If Obama loses the nomination, it will likely be because of Wright. How ironic that the first viable black candidate for President with a real chance of winning is getting sabotaged by another black man still living in the past, dragging down a younger man looking to move the nation forward. It’s even more ironic since it was the Democrat party that undid what anti-slavery progress had been made under the Missouri Compromise by passing the Kansas-Nebraska Act and the Compromise of 1850—and which was supported by northern and southern Democrats alike.
Push Until They Die: There Is Profit In Death
Horse racing. Must not forget that. Today’s Kentucky Derby took the life of yet another horse, Eight Belles. The filly broke both her front ankles and was euthanized on the track. You know, I like horses as much as the next person and we had horses while I was growing up. Given the chance, I would rather ride one than miss out on an opportunity to do so.
I understand wanting to demonstrate and take pride in the prowess of one’s animals—be they pets, livestock or family members. However, to push and punish animals so that humans can make money and gamble on them does not sit well with me. Horse racing needlessly imperils the health and lives of magnificent animals whom I would rather have around me than the majority of those people who go to wager on them and watch them (like Chelsea Clinton, who was there).
Don’t get me wrong, I think there are hobbies and sports and animal trials that are just fine—most in fact. Horse racing though, is something altogether different. It is rather like dog fighting, without the fighting but based on the same principle, to push an animal to its physical limits for the enjoyment of people and gambling. One component of sports is excelling and being the best you can be, but when you put that onto an animal without choice and who cannot voice their health or pain and push them until they break and die for entertainment and money, it is no longer sporting at all.
I call that shameful and think it seems abusive as well.

Mongo The Rabbit
I was pointing out Mongo the Rabbit to my nephew. He lives out back in an abandoned bee hive, being the only rabbit around with a condo. He is an incredibly large cottontail, larger than most swamp rabbits and could probably kick any jack rabbit’s ass he wanted.
My nephew, of course, did not understand why he was named Mongo. Kids…
For those who seek enlightenment and understanding of giant rabbits, I give you Mongo!

Tripp Isenhour: Jackass Pro Golfer Kills Hawk In Fit Of Rage
I say they tie this worthless punk to a pole at a driving range and let people have at him.
What an absolute worthless excuse of a human. I wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire. He’s just like Michael Vick. Both those punks need their ass kicked.
Update 1: I forgot to mention that the entire crew on location are a bunch of spineless cowards with no redeeming moral quality either. You just stand by and watch someone kill a protected bird of prey for no reason because you’re afraid of saying something…to a frigging golfer? What kind of nation of cowards do we live in? I think they ought to bring charges against the entire crew as accomplices in the incident.
Update 2: You can go over to ESPN’s golf section and see just how many other golfers share his pathetic attitude for yourself in the comments on the story on that site. You’ll have to sign up for an account. There are plenty of other golfers that are just as worthless as he is.

Sleuthing And Tracking
So, I went to make a couple sandwiches and I found myself faced with the evidence of a crime…sort of. While I had a pretty good idea who the perpetrator was, this is America, and you need evidence if you’re going to point the finger.
I decided to put my skills to use. You see, I studied crime scene investigation along with a variety of other law enforcement topics at one point in life while pursuing a degree in law enforcement. I also was one of the designated trackers for jungle operations in my unit. This was the perfect crime for me to solve, as there were tracks left behind as evidence at the scene of the crime.

Texas Greed For Oklahoma Water
I used to like the state of Texas, having lived in both northeast Texas and the Rio Grande Valley. But lately, Texas has really pissed me off. I am, after all, a native born Oklahoman. In any case, Texas has been largely responsible for contributing to the illegal immigration into the US by its failure to clamp down on its borders.
That would be reason enough to be upset with Texas—helping contribute to the weakening of our national sovereignty and economy, but there’s another good reason to dislike Texas.
Don’t mess with Texas? How about don’t mess with Oklahoma? We don’t want your greed and your problems screwing up our state as well.
Texas has long been after Oklahoma water. Now, Texas lawyers are trying under the guise of a Federal lawsuit to claim a right to southeast and southern Oklahoma’s 5 aquifers…

Why Animal Rights Activists Bother Me
Most so-called animal rights activists bother me with their views. Largely, because they are not in the least bit concerned with the welfare of animals, but with what their perception of ‘proper’ animal management amounts to; I think they are very often misguided.
Take the case of PETA dumping cats and dogs in dumpsters, some possibly still alive and left for dead. Talk about sick… And now, the latest example of what kind of misguided behavior that some animal rights activists espouse: killing abandoned baby animals—that live in a zoo.

The Predator In The Backyard
Looking out the kitchen window, I watched something right out of a wildlife documentary. I have seen several red-tailed hawks lurking around the backyard where feed gets put out daily for the birds and deer. Deer, turkey, songbirds, the hawks, and even coyotes are regular visitors.
Today, there was a new predator and it took advantage of what must look like a raptor’s equivalent of a fast-food restaurant…
