Sanctuary Cities Should Lose All Federal And State Funding
April 16, 2008
How ridiculous is it that Los Angeles police cannot question a suspected illegal immigrant or illegal immigrant gang member about their immigration status? Municipal governments who see fit to thwart the will of the people of this nation and the laws enacted to enforce immigration ought to lose all Federal and State funding. It is time to send a message that we’re tired of violent criminals and drugs and sex offenders getting sanctuary in American cities.
The problem is that there isn’t a single lawyer in this country who would sue the government of any town, city or state on the behalf of the people of this nation. Get rid of illegals and you will hurt the legal profession, bail bondsmen, bail enforcement, for-profit jails and prisons. Can’t have that.
Better to just let Americans continue being murdered, raped, injured by drunk driving illegals, or getting hooked on the drugs they traffick in if you’re a member of the legal system/profession or make a living off it.
Cowardly politicians who are more concerned about whether or not they scare or offend illegal immigrants than they do about serving and protecting the legal citizens of this nation are a disgrace. Unfortunately, government is full of such people, and among them are some senior members of law enforcement.
They will gladly throw an American in jail and garnish wages and ruin your life with legal proceedings even when it turns out you’re innocent. Yet, they won’t even ask a violent gang member who is here illegally about his status. What the hell is wrong with this country?
Everything…that’s what.
Maybe it’s time We the People reclaim our society the way the Founding Fathers formed it, or the way the Confederacy formed their own, or the way Texans formed their own? Truthfully, I think 95% of Americans are too soft and cowardly these days to fight for anything but front row tickets to a sports event.
Thus, Americans will sit by and let the government do things like stick your DNA in databases if you’re accused of a crime, whether you are ever convicted or not. All the while the same system of government allows violent and racist invaders from foreign countries to overrun our nation and walk around free as a bird…because we don’t want to offend them.
I don’t know why I bother to blog about it. There aren’t any politicians with the spine to oppose sanctuary laws and rulings by Federal judges, nor—it seems—any men in this country that would fight for anything that doesn’t come out of (1) a fridge, (2) the mouth of some crooked politician, or (3) an ATM.
