President Bush And His Memorial Day Insult To Veterans

May 29, 2007

George Bush, President of America, wants to give America away to illegal aliens. He wants us all to believe the only way immigration can be enforced is by legalizing illegal aliens and offering amnesty instead of acting like a leader and sending troops or more law enforcement to our borders.

Or, making the Mexican government actually do its job.

Today, Bush had this to say about those of us who don’t want the bill passed:

“If you want to kill the bill, if you don’t want to do what’s right for America…”

— George W. Bush, President, United States of America

Excuse me?

Just yesterday, Bush was saying:

“The greatest memorial to our fallen troops cannot be found in the words we say or the places we gather. The more lasting tribute is all around us — a country where citizens have the right to worship as they want, to march for what they believe, and to say what they think. These freedoms came at great costs — and they will survive only as long as there are those willing to step forward to defend them against determined enemies.

As before in our history, Americans find ourselves under attack and underestimated. Our enemies long for our retreat. They question our moral purpose. They doubt our strength of will.”

He then went on to state…

“On this Day of Memory, we mourn brave citizens who laid their lives down for our freedom. They lived and died as Americans. May we always honor them. May we always embrace them. And may we always be faithful to who they were and what they fought for.”

But today, one day later, he says patriots don’t want what is right for America.

Why, Mr. President, is it so much more important that Mexicans have special privileges when we require immigrants from other nations to abide by our laws? Why is it so important that Americans support the Mexican economy while our own needs to be fixed? Why is it, Mr. President, that you are more concerned for illegal aliens than you are for Americans?

I want to keep drug dealers, sex offenders and rapists, murderers, other law breakers and illegal aliens with no respect for America or its laws out of my country and I don’t want what is right for America?

I want to save our economy by eliminating the artificial wage depression and false economics that the cheap labor barons have forced on us and try to pass off as reality, when it is an artificial economy based on hiring workers for less than what they would have to pay an American citizen? And I don’t want what’s right for America?

I am tired of millions of illegal aliens entering the country I and generations of my family have fought for and committing crimes. I don’t like it that 43% of illegal aliens are criminals. I am tired of hearing Mexican rhetoric about the Reconquista and the racist Razi propaganda by Hispanic supremacists La Raza, and I don’t want what’s best for America?

Tell me Mr. President, what is best for our country? More cheap labor for you and the cheap labor barons? More rapists, drug traffickers, murderers and Mexican flags waving throughout our country?

I think you are a traitor to the people and the nation that have elected you Mr. Bush. You make me want to puke. You would sell out your countrymen out of cowardice and a lack of morals and courage, just to keep the price of lettuce cheap? Is that it?

I don’t like the fact Mexico is an entry point for the enemies of America. I don’t like it that narco-terrorists run Mexico. I don’t like it that their Army officers go around raping and that their soldiers murder indigenous peoples lobbying for respect and dignity.

I don’t like that terrorists use Mexico to enter the USA and the fact that you want to be soft on illegal aliens because you feel it is better to sell our nation’s sovereignty out than to preserve it. All so you can keep a flood of cheap goods and labor flowing across the border. But it is me and others who feel the same that don’t want what is right for America?

It is starting to look more and more like both the Republican and Democratic party are trying to sell America out. In fact, if you read your history books, what is going on now is quite similar to the occurrences that led up to the Mexican-American war in 1846.

Back then, President Polk defended our nation against incursions by Mexicans. Today, President Bush does nothing even as armed Mexicans enter our nation at will.

Mexicans claim they have a historical right to America. Sorry to burst that fantasy bubble, but Mexico never conquered all of the various indigenous people of northern Mexico, much less the American southwest. In fact, the present Mexican government is not even the same government that existed after secession from Spain. It changed dozens of times between the end of Spanish rule and the end of the Mexican-American war in 1848 alone, enduring three different constitutions, several dictators and dozens of attempted military coups!

Furthermore, the whole premise which gave birth to Mexico, that of Pope Alexander VI’s religious edict in the Treaty of Tordesillas during the 15th century has no legal basis. The only two nations who agreed to it were Portugal and Spain, and it was never recognized by the British government, from which America gained its independence.

Mexicans claiming they have a right to parts of America because they are indigenous need to go back and read their own history they seem so proud of. Mexicans are the product of Spanish imperialism—there was no Mexico until people, of Spanish and native American descent alike, rebelled. No native American peoples ruled the entire area of what is now the American southwest, not the Aztecs, or any other peoples who were alive when Spain arrived in the New World.

Just as many who fought in the secessionist war that created Mexico were of white European descent. Mexicans have no more right to the American southwest than anyone else, and less than both Americans and the native American peoples and white settlers who lived throughout the region and who took it by conquest, purchase and annexation.

If Mexicans want a Reconquista, perhaps we should remind them that we once conquered them. In fact, on September 13 of 1848, the American flag was raised over Mexico City by American troops who had conquered all of Mexico.

If Mexicans want to make the argument that it is merely by conquest that they have a right to the American southwest, we need to remind them that by that yardstick, we have a right to their entire nation! Perhaps we should pursue it as vigorously as they are pursuing their efforts of conquest?

Perhaps we should do as the Mexicans are doing to America, attempt to reestablish our claim on Mexico and kick all the Mexicans out? After all, America was here before Mexico.

It does not matter if the means is by war, or by illegal immigration, or by trafficking of drugs and the destruction of our social fabric and family values, nor if by simple failure to act with firm and resolute action by our own government. The end result is the same. We lose America if we do nothing. We lose America if we grant amnesty and tolerate illegal immigration.

I have another idea of who does not want what is right for America, Mr. President. You don’t want what is right for America. In fact, you don’t care if there is an America to pass on to our grandchildren.

I think it is quite clear that a lot of people in both the major political parties now have the intention to sell out our nation, no matter if their reasons for wanting the same thing are different or not. They both want to see American sovereignty and the principles our nation stands for to pass into history.

Just as it has happened to every nation who did not protect its sovereignty, its heritage, its people, its way of life, and the value of citizenship which its people bought and paid for with generations of blood and sacrifice.

Why were you too cowardly to say what you did yesterday, on Memorial Day? Yesterday was a day honoring America, those who have sacrificed for it—among that number many immigrants. Yesterday was a celebration of all the things which America stands for and which draws immigrants to this land.

Instead, you wait until the next day, and accuse those same people of not wanting what is right for America and have the audacity to suggest that what is best for America is allowing an invasion of our nation by criminals, drug dealers, rapists, cheap labor, racists, and insurgents.

You praised the deeds of those of us you call patriots on Monday; today you showed yourself to be a hypocrite and a coward, and accuse patriots of not wanting what is best for America?

I wouldn’t spit on you if you were on fire.

I feel the same. My question is this. Why can they go to a store and purchase $400.00 worth of merchandise and pay for it with a credit card? When the cashier ask for ID such as drivers permit ID card, they don’t have one, but have a wallet full of other cards. The store manager ok’s the purchase. They walk out the store and get in brand new pickup worth $30,000. I guess the car dealer didn’t ask for ID either. I’ve seen it happen to many times.

Maurice, thanks for stopping by to read and share your thoughts.

It is amazing, isn’t it? How illegal aliens can get credit cards and driver’s licenses but for some reason the government cannot track them down or determine if they are even citizens remains a mystery.

Those without driver’s licenses manage to survive largely because unscrupulous business owners and individuals are too glad to rent them a house, sale them property, offer them a job and so forth without the proper credentials. These leeches on our society (the unscrupulous business persons) gladly break the law because they are making money and know that the illegal aliens will not complain or ever take legal action against them to protect their anonymity. They know that if they default on anything, they can just threaten to take it all back and that the illegals cannot walk into court to contest anything.

Then of course, there are the restaurant and lawn care services and construction companies who hire them for cheap labor. These people are ruining the American economy and breaking laws in order to make an easy dollar. And they do so at the expense of all law abiding citizens and their business operations are an insult to generations of those who have fought for this country.

And politicians of course don’t want to upset a growing demographic that they might need to stay in office—so they can continue getting rich of special interest money.

Hopefully, today’s vote in the Senate will kill the amnesty bill for good.

Take care, and thanks again for dropping by.
