Solar Power On My Mind

February 21, 2007

A company named Citizenrē is offering free solar systems for homeowners. They will install it, and all you have to do is agree to buy your electric from them at prices under your current utility company charges.

You will get the chance to buy the equipment from the company and most importantly, you will help save the environment. Sounds fantastic. However, the company is drawing fire. See why over on Wired.com and then check out the company for yourself.

Also, check out web hosting company Affordable Internet Services Online, Inc.—a solar powered hosting company.

Bart, thanks for dropping by and taking time to read and comment.

I agree with you that the industry will really take off. Of course, people have been saying that since the 1970’s. I think the world is finally at the point, though, where we realize that alternative solutions are not only a good thing, but a necessary thing given the future of fossil fuels and the impact they have had on our planet.

Thanks for the link. I checked out the site and like it. Folks, I second Bart’s suggested link, which is part of the AboutMyPlanet.com site.

Thanks again for dropping by and the great tip! Have a great week.
