New Mini-Series On Understanding Men: The Evolution Of Men
January 30, 2007
Understanding our fellow humans is something we all try to do.
Well, occasionally.
There are days when we would all rather we didn’t have any fellow humans. Since we’re stuck with the reality, however, we have to make the best of things.
This Is What Happens With Time On Your Hands
Here’s a sobering thought I had the other day…
I don’t know what half the world’s population thinks, how they think it, or why.
I just know it doesn’t make much sense at times. OK, most of the time.
They all keep saying rather vehemently that they are most definitely not all alike. Yet, they all act the same pretty much, with all too rare exceptions.
They probably think the same thing about men.
There is an old saying that goes something like:
“Man does not understand woman;
that is his misfortune…
Woman understands man;
that is also his misfortune…”
Maybe. We’re about to see who doesn’t understand who, and why.
Better Communication Leads To Better Understanding
Well, in the name of understanding and with an interest in fostering better communications and goodwill between the sexes, I’ve decided to help clear things up. There’s no reason we shouldn’t understand each other better. No reason we can’t get along better.
I decided the best thing to do was write about men’s minds. How they evolved and why. There’s more to it than what the history books have taught.
If you can’t understand the language we’re speaking, you won’t figure us out. And you have to. Because we’re pretty much in agreement we won’t ever figure you out.
The basis for good communications is making sure messages are encoded and decoded correctly, and that they get transmitted in the first place.
There are other things involved—like medium, channel selection and whatnot—but one of the first things you should learn about guys is that we can’t be bothered with a lot of details. Just gets in the way.
All In The Name Of Science (and more hits on my blog)
So, here you go, ladies. This is the kind of insight therapists wish they had. Here are the things social scientists have long argued over inconclusively, laid bare in writing.
I decided to ask a lot of guys what their thoughts were on various subjects. I am taking that all in, standing back, looking at the big picture, and then communicating it to you in a way that should clear all the confusion up.
I say should. We can only hope.
Here is the story behind what it means to be male—how and why we are what we are. Here is wisdom.
Here is a new 4 part mini-series of blogs on The Evolution of Men.
Stay tuned…

Everything is evolving DOWNWARD,, it fits perfectly with the Bible and the second law of thermodynamics, It’s name is Entrophy.
God set it into action after man sinned. See Isaiah 51:6, et al.
